Career pathways and areas of expertise

Research & development

CustomCells is a pioneering force in cell development, serving as a vital collaborator for both our internal departments and external business partners. We focus on creating new cell designs, establishing cutting-edge cell technologies, and advancing electrode formulations through rigorous testing. If you have a scientific or technical background, enjoy collaborative teamwork, and are passionate about pushing the boundaries of battery technology, we want to meet you.

Production

In production, we focus on two key areas: coating and cell construction. Collaborating closely with process engineering, project management, project planning and quality management, we ensure a seamless workflow. Logistics plays a crucial role, ensuring materials flow smoothly from incoming goods to dispatch. If you have completed training as a plant operator, industrial mechanic, chemical technician, or warehouse clerk and bring several years of experience in a chemical processing company, we would like to meet you.

Process engineering

In process engineering at CustomCells, we closely collaborate with production to ensure smooth operations. Our mission involves identifying new machinery needs, planning modifications, procuring equipment, and overseeing new facility commissioning. If you hold a technical degree in process engineering or related sciences, enjoy teamwork, are intrigued by innovative tech solutions, and thrive on process-oriented thinking, we want to meet you.

Project management

As a project manager in battery development/production, the focus is on collaborating with internal departments and supporting customers in lithium-ion cell development. Holding a scientific or technical degree and thriving in diverse teams are essential. In project planning, we coordinate global development and production projects, maintaining daily proximity to customers and our unique products. Administration, finance, and accounting

Within our dynamic team, tasks in administration, finance, and accounting are incredibly diverse. Responsibilities span from coordination and organization to the commercial processing of business transactions. Generating evaluations and reports for management, processing incoming and outgoing invoices, managing travel arrangements, and handling orders are integral components. Our scope also extends to providing IT solutions.

Quality management

Quality is at the heart of what we do. Beyond ensuring adherence to DIN standards, our focus includes advising specialist departments and standardizing internal processes. We actively support all departments in quality improvement and optimization. Interdisciplinary cooperation is the bedrock of our positive quality management.
